Half-Time Report: Inter Milan lead Sampdoria at the break

Inter Milan are leading Sampdoria 1-0 after 45 minutes of their Serie A clash this afternoon.

The visitors started the game strongly and Manolo Gabbiadini came close to giving them an early lead when he flashed a shot wide of the goal.

Inter began to dominate the game and took the lead when Fredy Guarin was picked out at the back post by Ricky Alvarez, before firing the ball into the roof of the net.

Jonathan was next to come close for the home side, but his effort from outside of the box was struck high over the bar.
