Hull City captain Curtis Davies has admitted his frustration following an inconsistent Christmas for the team.
The Tigers are currently above the relegation zone on goal difference after taking three points from a possible nine.
Despite a slump in form and a busy fixture schedule, Davies insists that there is still plenty of hunger within the squad at the KC Stadium.
"We came into the festive games believing that there were opportunities to take a lot of points. It's been frustrating," the defender told the club's official website.
"Everyone wants to play regardless of whether they're tired or not because everyone wants to give their best for the team and play their own individual part to make sure things are right on the pitch."
Hull are back in Premier League action tomorrow when they host Everton.
