Hull City defender Curtis Davies has hailed the impact of manager Steve Bruce at the Premier League club.
The newly-promoted Tigers are currently in eighth place in the table, thanks to an unbeaten run of four matches.
Davies believes that Bruce's shrewd work in the summer transfer window has helped the side begin the campaign strongly.
"The way Steve works with the squad is great and the demands he puts on us we are able to carry out," he told Sky Sports News.
"He hasn't tried to sign players and turn them into something, he has signed players knowing what their gifts are and hopefully our form can continue."
Hull return to Premier League action on October 19 when they travel to Goodison Park to face Everton.
