Huddersfield Town sign Jermaine Beckford on loan

Huddersfield Town sign Leicester City striker Jermaine Beckford on an emergency loan deal.

Jermaine Beckford has joined Huddersfield Town on an emergency loan deal from Leicester City.

The 28-year-old will remain on loan at Huddersfield until December 29, and will join up with manager Simon Grayson, whom he played under at Leeds United.

Grayson said: "Jermaine is a good footballer and he adds something different to the squad.

"The players we have at the squad all have different qualities and Jermaine is a natural goalscorer."

Beckford will go straight into the Huddersfield squad to face Watford on Saturday afternoon.
