Chris Powell hails Huddersfield Town after win over Ipswich Town

Huddersfield Town boss Chris Powell insists that they aren't safe yet after victory over Ipswich Town.

Huddersfield Town manager Chris Powell has said that his side's 2-1 win over Ipswich Town was one of the best performances during his time at the club.

Nakhi Wells and James Vaughan gave the Terriers a 2-0 half-time lead, before Luke Varney pulled one back for Ipswich early in the second half.

Powell told BBC Sport: "We've got to keep going until it's mathematically certain. We've got two away games and two big games at home before Blackpool on the last day and I hope we carry this on for the next five games.

"It was a first-class performance and arguably the best since I've been manager. To do that after we played less than 48 hours ago [at Sheffield Wednesday] is a testament to my players. The energy levels, movement and the way they took the game to Ipswich made me proud to be their manager."

Huddersfield are 17th in the Championship table.
