Jonathan Hogg: 'Huddersfield Town determined to avoid Elland Road repeat'

Huddersfield Town midfielder Jonathan Hogg says the Terriers were determined to avoid a repeat of last weekend's 5-1 defeat to Leeds United.

Jonathan Hogg has said that Huddersfield Town were determined to avoid a repeat of their thrashing at Elland Road.

The Terriers lost 5-1 against Leeds United last weekend, but they bounced back with a victory against Wigan Athletic at John Smith's Stadium.

"It's a good result today, because they are a top team in this League," the midfielder is quoted as saying on the club's official website. "[Wigan have] only just come down from the Premier League and they have a lot of experience.

"I was at Leeds supporting the lads last weekend and the second half wasn't good. We had a meeting on Monday and put that result behind us.

"A result like that can happen once a season, but if it does you're determined it shouldn't happen twice."

Huddersfield are back in action on Tuesday night when they host Nottingham Forest.
