Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner insists that his team can overcome Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner has insisted that his team can overcome Manchester United when the two clubs meet at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Huddersfield are without a win in their last seven league fixtures, but the Terriers recorded a 2-1 victory in the reverse match at the John Smith's Stadium back in October.

Wagner has conceded that it will be difficult for his team this weekend, but the German has said that the visitors "will try everything to steal something from this game".

"If you have done it once you know the impossible is possible in football. You have to be on it and have the desire and belief you can get something out of the game," Wagner told reporters.

"What we cannot influence we have to accept but our desire, spirit and belief, this is what we have to bring out on the grass.

"It is important we have belief rather than dreams. We will try everything to steal something from this game. We are so excited about this event, there are not a lot of better occasions in the football world."

Huddersfield sit just one spot outside of the Premier League relegation zone entering this weekend's fixtures.
