Hearts captain Danny Wilson to leave this summer

Hearts captain Danny Wilson will leave the club in the summer, it has been revealed.

The 23-year-old has triggered a clause in his contract which allows it to be terminated a year early.

Wilson, who came through the youth ranks at Rangers, has been linked with a move to Celtic as well as to a number of English clubs.

He signed for Hearts on loan from Liverpool in January 2013 before making the move permanent six months later, and has made 30 league appearances this season as Hearts won the Scottish Championship.
