Ryan Stevenson threatens to quit Hearts

Ryan Stevenson has threatened to abandon Hearts over the wage dispute surrounding the Scottish club.

The midfielder is believed to have requested that the SPL club terminate his contract but are refusing to meet his demands.

The 27-year-old has claimed that he will force through a move to another club unless the playmaker is paid his outstanding wages, according to BBC Sport.

The Scottish club have failed to make scheduled payments to the team over the past three months, which has resulted in a number of players leaving the club.

Utility player Eggert Jonsson recently agreed a deal with Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
