Heung-Min Son unsure of Hamburg future

Hamburg striker Heung-Min Son has admitted that he is unsure about signing a contract extension.

The 20-year-old's current contract with the German club runs out in June 2014.

"I am as yet unaware whether I am to sign a new deal with Hamburg this winter," the South Korean told the Hamburg Morgenpost.

"Still there is no doubt that I am very happy with my current situation at Hamburg. I like the club and I love the fans as much as they love me."

Son joined Hamburg's youth academy in 2008 and has progressed through the ranks at HSV.
