Surprise package Girona will move to the top of the La Liga table if they avoid defeat against basement side Almeria in Sunday's contest at Power Horse Stadium.

Girona are currently second in the division, level on points with leaders Real Madrid, while Almeria remain rooted to the bottom of the division, with the strugglers still waiting for their first win of the season.

This has the potential to be a tricky match for Girona, and it would not be a complete shock if Almeria were able to hold the title challengers to a draw on Sunday. Girona are very much in the winning habit at the moment, though, and we are backing them to navigate their way to an important three points here.

Cadiz vs. Valencia (Sunday, 3.15pm)

Valencia will be aiming to make it four straight wins in all competitions when they resume their La Liga campaign away to a struggling Cadiz outfit on Sunday afternoon.

Los Che currently sit ninth in the table, boasting 26 points from their opening 19 matches of the season, while Cadiz are down in 18th, with a tough campaign to date seeing them collect just 15 points.

We say: Cadiz 1-2 Valencia

Valencia have the winning habit at the moment, and the visitors will fancy their chances of putting another victory on the board this weekend. Cadiz are certainly better than what they have shown this season, but we are finding it difficult to back them to avoid defeat in this contest.
