Half-Time Report: Gillingham, Doncaster Rovers goalless at the break

Neither Gillingham or Doncaster Rovers were able to find the breakthrough in a goalless first half in League One this afternoon.

Gillingham dominated the early proceedings and Cody McDonald tried to fee on-loan Emmanuel Osadebe, but the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder couldn't quite reach the through ball.

Josh Wright had a chance on eight minutes when the ball fell to him on the edge of the box, but his powerful effort was well blocked as Gillingham continued to press for the opener.

Bradley Dack forced Thorsten Stuckmann into a smart save with an effort from the edge of the area, and it was the home side who were the better team in the opening half hour.

A clever ball from Richard Chaplow released Cedric Evina, but his blasted effort across goal just missed Curtis Main as the striker tried to convert on 22 minutes.
