Guti in discussions with Getafe

Former Real Madrid and Spain midfielder Guti is reportedly in discussions with Getafe over a move to the La Liga club.

The 35-year-old is currently a free agent after his contract with Turkish club Besiktas was cancelled earlier this week.

Malaga are another club said to be interested in acquiring Guti's services, but he is believed to prefer a move to Madrid-based Getafe in order to be closer to his family.

Should the transfer be concluded soon, he could be in line to make his debut against Sporting Gijon this weekend.
