Julian Draxler takes the place of Mario Gotze as the world champions seek to reach the quarter-finals for the sixth major international tournament in succession.

Slovakia boss Jan Kozak, meanwhile, has made four changes to the team that drew 0-0 with England.

Michal Duris takes the place of Ondrej Duda at centre-forward, Norbert Gyomber is chosen ahead of Tomas Hubocan at left-back, and Patrik Hrosovsky and Milan Skriniar replace Viktor Pecovsky and Robert Mak.

Germany: Neuer; Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Hector; Khedira, Kroos; Ozil, Muller, Draxler; Gomez

Slovakia: Kozacik; Pekarik, Skrtel, Durica, Gyomber; Skriniar, Kucka, Hrosovsky, Hamsik, Weiss; Duris
