Wesley Sneijder agrees contract extension with Galatasaray

Galatasaray playmaker Wesley Sneijder has agreed a new contract extension with the Turkish club.

Sneijder, who originally joined from Inter in 2013, has agreed to extend his stay in Turkey until the end of the 2017-18 season.

The club has also announced that a signing ceremony with Sneijder will take place on Sunday at the Turk Telekom Arena Stadium.

The Netherlands international has previously been a target for both Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
