Istanbulspor have been on a rotten run with no points and no goals in their last three matches, as a relegation battle looks on the cards again.

Meanwhile, Antalyaspor are fresh from a win last weekend, which came after a narrow and unfortunate defeat at league leaders Fenerbahce, making them the favourites for this one.

Trabzonspor vs. Pendikspor (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Slow starters Trabzonspor welcome newly-promoted Pendikspor to Papara Park in the Super Lig on Saturday.

Another defeat last weekend has left the 2022 Turkish champions a long way adrift of the top already after just six weeks of the season.

In a first-ever meeting between these two sides, Trabzonspor come into it as heavy favourites despite an underwhelming start which has included some surprise defeats.

Pendikspor suffered a heavy defeat on the opening day, and were beaten comfortably by Adana Demirspor in their last away outing though, and despite the host's shaky form, they should still take the three points with little fuss.

Galatasaray vs. Ankaragucu (Saturday, 5.00pm)

Turkish champions Galatasaray prepare for their trip to Old Trafford in midweek with a home encounter against Ankaragucu in the Super Lig on Saturday night.

Gala relinquished top spot when Fenerbahce won their game in hand against local rivals Istanbul Basaksehir on Thursday, so the hosts cannot afford any slip-ups, even if there are obvious distractions on the horizon.

With the biggest game of the season coming up on Tuesday, Galatasaray may be forgiven for taking their foot slightly off the pedal here, but they must ensure they still get the job done.

It has been three shaky victories in a row now for Gala surrounding the start of their European campaign, but Ankaragucu have been far from scintillating so far and the hosts should comfortably take the three points.
