Ryan Williams completes medical ahead of move

Fulham are closing in on a £500,000 deal to sign Portsmouth youngster Ryan Williams.

The winger spent Monday at Fulham's training ground to complete his medical ahead of officially signing.

The 18-year-old is only on the fringes of the Portsmouth squad and he is being sacrificed so the club can raise the cash needed to pay their tax bill after being issued a wind-up petition.

Williams started his career at Australian side ECU Joondalup before joining Portsmouth in 2010.
