Pavel Pogrebnyak passes Fulham medical

Pavel Pogrebnyak has passed a medical ahead of his proposed switch from Stuttgart to Fulham.

The 28-year-old underwent the examination in Germany as Fulham look to push through the deal before the deadline closes at 11pm this evening.

It is understood that the Russian international has agreed terms with the Whites and now the only thing holding the deal up is a work permit.

Fulham are expected to sign the frontman on a loan basis initially, with the club able to sign Pogrebnyak in the summer as a free agent.
