Fulham have announced experienced goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte as their first addition of the summer transfer window.
The Cottagers revealed on Friday that second-choice shot-stopper Steven Benda had joined Millwall on a season-long loan deal.
Benda's move to the Championship side has ultimately paved the way for Fulham to unveil Lecomte as Bernd Leno's new understudy.
The West London club have confirmed that they have signed the 33-year-old from Ligue 2 side Montpellier HSC.

We're delighted to confirm the signing of Benjamin Lecomte!
Lecomte "proud" to make Fulham switch
Lecomte has put pen to paper on a two-year contract to keep him at Craven Cottage until the end of the 2026-27 campaign.
Speaking upon his arrival, Lecomte told Fulham's media channels: "I'm really, really happy and proud to join Fulham because it's a new step in my career and I think it will be really nice to be part of the club."
Meanwhile, Fulham vice-chairman Tony Khan expressed his delight at signing a goalkeeper with a wealth of experience.
"I am excited to welcome Benjamin Lecomte to Fulham until at least 2027," Khan said.
"He is a talented goalkeeper with valuable experience, including more than 300 appearances in Ligue 1, and his arrival will further strengthen the team and add depth to Marco’s squad, as we prepare for next season in the Premier League!"
Lecomte kickstarts Fulham's summer transfer business
Fulham fans had been left frustrated with the club's lack of transfer activity, so they will be relieved to finally see their team get a deal over the line.
Manager Marco Silva will hope that several more signings will follow Lecomte through the door ahead of the first Premier League game of the season against Brighton & Hove Albion on August 16.
Fulham are believed to be in talks over a move to re-sign Arsenal's Reiss Nelson following his loan stint at Craven Cottage last term.
They are also readying a formal approach for Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, while Raheem Sterling is another name on their radar.
