Fulham 'turn down £20m Tom Cairney bid'

Fulham have allegedly rejected a £20m bid from West Ham United for midfielder Tom Cairney.

The 26-year-old, who scored the winning goal in the Championship playoff final, has been on the Hammers' radar since the January transfer window.

According to Sky Sports News, West Ham have had a fresh £20m bid for the Englishman rejected as the East London club resurrect their pursuit of the midfielder.

The source says that Cairney was keen on a move to the London Stadium in January, but could be tempted to stick with Slavisa Jokanovic's side after sealing their promotion to the Premier League.

Cairney would be West Ham's fourth capture of the summer, after the club confirmed the signings of Issa Diop, Lukasz Fabianski and Cairney's former Fulham teammate Ryan Fredericks.
