Fulham to move for Maarten Stekelenburg?

Fulham are reportedly preparing a bid for Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

The 29-year-old, who joined the Italian club from Ajax last summer, is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in European football.

However, according to Sky Sports News, he is keen to try his hand in the Premier League with his best years seemingly ahead of him.

Fulham have emerged as the early favourites for the Dutchman.
