Clint Dempsey ignites Arsenal interest

Fulham midfielder Clint Dempsey has reportedly ignited interest from Arsenal after he admitted that he wants Champions League football.

The 28-year-old American, who has scored 15 goals in 29 appearances for the Cottagers this season, has also been linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers.

"You should never get content," said Dempsey. "I want to play in the Champions League.

"Nobody thought I would get this far. I want to go as far as I can."

Dempsey has scored two hat-tricks in his last three games for Martin Jol's side.
