Dimitar Berbatov to see out Fulham contract

Berbatov to stay put at Fulham

Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov will see out the remainder of his contract at Craven Cottage, according to the player's agent Emil Danchev.

The Bulgarian, who joined the club from Manchester United last summer, has been linked with a possible move to Russia this summer, but the forward's representative has dismissed the speculation.

"He has another one-year contract with Fulham and he will stay at Fulham until the end of his contract," the London Evening Standard quotes Danchev as saying.

"He's happy at Fulham and he wants to stay another year. I don't want to comment on other clubs. Even if there is interest, he's happy in Fulham and he wants to stay. He will play football for at least two more years."

The 32-year-old scored 15 goals for the Cottagers last season.
