Arsenal, Sunderland to battle for Bryan Ruiz?

Fulham's Costa Rican attacker Bryan Ruiz is said to be attracting the interest of Arsenal and Sunderland.

Arsenal and Sunderland are reportedly both considering a move for Fulham attacker Bryan Ruiz.

The 28-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan with PSV Eindhoven, is believed to have no intention of remaining with the West Londoners in the Championship.

He is keen to join a Premier League club, which has alerted Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and his Sunderland counterpart Gus Poyet, according to the Daily Express.

Both managers are at the World Cup in punditry roles and are said to have scouted the Costa Rica captain.

Ruiz joined Fulham from FC Twente during the summer of 2011.
