Felix Magath confident of Fulham survival

Fulham boss Felix Magath remains optimistic that he can guide the Cottagers to Premier League safety this season.

The West Londoners missed the chance to move off the bottom of the standings and ascend out of the relegation zone by slumping to a 3-1 defeat to Everton at Craven Cottage today.

"We have played against a very good team. Everton are going for the fourth place. It was a good game. If we can take this performance with us, we will make it good," he told reporters.

"We have six games left. I still believe we can stay up."

Ashkan Dejagah equalised after a David Stockdale own goal helped the Toffees into the lead. However, Kevin Mirallas and Steven Naismith added goals in the final 10 minutes to seal the win.
