Kit Symons: 'We didn't do enough in Ipswich Town defeat'

Fulham boss Kit Symons admits that he is disappointed that his side failed to create more chances during their Championship defeat to Ipswich Town.

Fulham manager Kit Symons has admitted that his side did not create enough second-half chances in their 2-1 defeat at home to Ipswich Town this afternoon.

A late goal from Ross McCormack could not stop Fulham from sliding to their third defeat in four games as a Darryl Murphy brace earned the Tractor Boys victory.

Symons told the club's official website: "We got ourselves back into the game with a slightly fortuitous goal to be honest, but didn't have enough to get something out of it.

"The ball came through to Ross and he took his opportunity very well which I would expect him to do. He's a very good finisher and he's a poacher in those situations. But we didn't have enough shots on target during the game, especially second half.

Fulham travel to London rivals and fellow strugglers Millwall next week.
