Fulham forward Bryan Ruiz has vowed that he will make an impact at Craven Cottage this season and thinks that he is finally settled in England.
The Costa Rican managed just two Premier League goals for Fulham last season after arriving from FC Twente last summer for a fee of £10.6m.
He told talkSPORT: "I think there is more to come. I know that the manager has talked about me making a greater contribution and that he has faith that I can. Is that pressure? I don't think so.
"It is exactly what I want to hear because I came to England to show my qualities. If I am honest, I believe that it has taken me a little while to find my feet.
"Having had almost a year to adjust to the culture, the team and the manager, I feel that I have a lot more confidence."
Ruiz will begin his effort to repay the faith of Cottagers' boss Martin Jol in Fulham's opening Premier League match against Norwich City on August 18.
