Fulham forward Mladen Petric has insisted that Queens Park Rangers should not be underestimated in Saturday's West London derby.
Martin Jol's side ended a run of seven matches without a win on Monday by beating Newcastle United 2-1 at Craven Cottage.
Petric believes that the victory will serve as an important confidence boost ahead of tomorrow's short trip to Loftus Road.
He told the club's official website: "I am surprised they are struggling. But it's like a boxer when he's a bit stunned, he can still be dangerous. QPR haven't won a game this season but there will be a time when they do and we have to make sure it isn't against us.
"We have to take care, make sure we concentrate on the game and that will give us a good chance. The victory over Newcastle gives us confidence ahead of QPR.
"It would be nice to win for the Fulham fans, as well, because they have been fantastic. They support us everywhere we go. It would be good to give them three points as an early Christmas present."
The Cottagers are currently 13th in the Premier League, five points clear of the relegation zone but only six off a European spot.
