Fulham's Alexander Kacaniklic to miss start of season?

Fulham winger Alexander Kacaniklic is expected to miss the start of the Premier League season with a hamstring injury.

The 21-year-old suffered the knock in Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Werder Bremen, although it was initially thought that the Swede would be fit to resume training next week.

However, Cottagers boss Martin Jol told reporters at a press conference that the midfielder faces a fight to be ready for the start of the new campaign.

Fulham open their season away to Sunderland on August 17.
