Fulham boss Martin Jol is concerned that his side's excellent disciplinary record is a sign that they are not tough enough.
The Cottagers are the only Premier League team not to be shown a red card so far this season and are ranked well in UEFA's Fair Play rankings accordingly.
However the Dutchman is worried that these statistics are in fact a disguised problem rather than a credit to their playing style.
"Fulham have won the Fair Play Cup twice before [to qualify for Europe]," Jol told The Sun.
"But I would not be over the moon to win the Fair Play Cup, as sometimes it's a signal you are not tough enough or strong enough in the tackle.
"We are a bit like that sometimes. It's about your style. I don't want to mention names but some clubs have a very different style."
Fulham face Swansea City at Craven Cottage in Premier League action on Saturday.
