Half-Time Report: Everton ahead at Fulham

Everton are leading Fulham 1-0 at Craven Cottage in their Capital One Cup clash.

Everton took the lead in the 12th minute when Steven Naismith latched onto Gerard Deulofeu's pass and fired through the legs of goalkeeper David Stockdale.

Sylvian Distin came close to scoring a second goal for the visitors but his header was cleared off the line.

Dimitar Berbatov saw a flicked header go close for the hosts before Deulofeu flashed a shot wide for Everton.

Berbatov tested Joel Robles from range at the end of the half but his effort was straight at the keeper.
