Martin Jol: 'We should have scored more'

Martin Jol believes that Fulham should be more ruthless in front of goal following their 1-1 draw against FC Twente in the Europa League.

Fulham manager Martin Jol has admitted that his side should have been more clinical in front of goal during their 1-1 draw against FC Twente at Craven Cottage.

The hosts took the lead in the Europa League group stage game through Andrew Johnson before going in level at the break, but Jol believes they could have been out of sight at the interval.

"In the first half we should have been two or three up. Of course they're a good team but when you put them under that sort of pressure you should be winning," said the Dutchman.

"We still wanted to play with four forward players but if you don't put the goals away you get frustrated and put pressure on yourself. The only thing now is that we have to put the chances away."

Fulham continue in the Premier League on Sunday when they host second-placed Manchester City.
