Sports Mole previews the vital World Cup qualifier between France and Spain at Stade de France.

A showpiece World Cup qualifier between France and Spain in Paris tomorrow night will leave one of European football's superpowers sweating on their place in Brazil next summer.

Reigning champions Spain are still reeling from Friday's shock 1-1 draw with Finland, which saw them slip two points behind Les Blues.

Coach Vicente del Bosque is also without Barcelona full-back Jordi Alba, who is sidelined for at least a week after suffering a hamstring strain.

France drew 1-1 against La Roja last year and head into the Paris showdown fresh from a 3-1 win over Georgia, which saw Olivier Giroud, Mathieu Valbuena and Franck Ribery all get on the scoresheet.

Recent Form:

France: LDWLW

Spain: WDWWD

Possible starting lineups:

France: Lloris, Cristophe Jallet, Varane, Sakho, Clichy, Yohann Cabaye, Matuidi, Valbuena, Benzema, Ribery, Giroud

Spain: Valdes, Arbeloa, Ramos, Pique, Monreal, Busquets, Xavi, Alonso, Andres Iniesta, Cazorla, Villa

Sports Mole says: 2-2
