Didier Deschamps proud of unbeaten France

France coach Didier Deschamps praises his players for enjoying an unbeaten group campaign at the World Cup.

France coach Didier Deschamps has praised his players for going unbeaten through the group stage at the World Cup.

Les Bleus, who play Nigeria in the second round, finished at the top of Group E after earning two wins and a draw from their three matches.

"It's a huge satisfaction for me and my staff," Deschamps told FIFA.com. "I'm proud of what the players have achieved.

"We need to appreciate this moment: when you look at the other matches, you realise that this is a very difficult World Cup. Some big nations have already been eliminated, but we're still here."

France face Nigeria in Brasilia on Monday for a place in the quarter-finals.
