William Gallas blasts Samir Nasri

Gallas blasts Nasri

Tottenham Hotspur defender William Gallas believes that the public are beginning to see 'the real Samir Nasri'.

The former teammates have been involved in a high-profile war of words ever since the now-Manchester City midfielder allegedly refused to give up his seat to Thierry Henry on the France team bus at Euro 2008.

Nasri is reportedly facing a two-year ban from international football following an incident in which the 25-year-old swore and challenged a journalist to a fight following his country's 2-0 defeat to Spain last weekend.

Gallas, who is said to be a transfer target of West Ham United, told France Football: "People have really learned for themselves who Samir Nasri truly is.

"There was a match with Arsenal in Rome and a serious discussion in the changing room at the end of the match. He lost a ball, I showed my disappointment, and he called me a 'son of a whore'."

Gallas has been capped 84 times at senior international level - 49 more than Nasri.
