Deschamps not worried despite defeat

France boss Didier Deschamps has called for calm following his side's 4-3 defeat to Belgium in their friendly clash.

Marc Wilmots's men raced into a 3-0 lead through a brace from Marouane Fellaini and a strike from Radja Nainggolan before Mathieu Valbuena got a goal back for the home side.

Eden Hazard restored his team's three-goal lead and it proved to be vital as not even late strikes from Nabil Fekir and Dimitri Payet could stop France from slipping to defeat.

However, Deschamps has insisted that he is not worried about his side ahead of Euro 2016, which will be played in France, as he still feels that they have ample time to improve ahead of the tournament.

"We weren't performing in the one-on-one duels. In the second half we had more life and we created more problems for them. Unfortunately, we conceded too many goals to hope to get a good result tonight," Deschamps told TF1.

"We shouldn't be super confident but we shouldn't be too worried either. We faced a great team, even if they're not a famous name like Brazil, Germany or Argentina. Belgium are not second in the FIFA ranking for nothing. They played a great game, especially athletically.

"There is an observation to make on what we have not done well. Collectively, we are capable of better. There is no need to pull our socks up, just to say some things. We will prepare as well as possible for Saturday's game against Albania."

France play Albania in their next friendly match on Saturday.
