Former Brazil international Adriano has re-signed for Flamengo after leaving Corinthians in March.
The 30-year-old, who has also played for Inter Milan, has vowed to score goals for the Brazilian club.
"I'm going to honour this shirt, which has always been mine, with a lot of goals," he told reporters.
Adriano scored 27 goals in 48 games for his country.
