Report: La Liga clubs monitor Giuseppe Rossi

Fiorentina's Italian international striker Giuseppe Rossi is a transfer target for five La Liga clubs this month, according to a report.

Five La Liga clubs are interested in ending Giuseppe Rossi's injury-hit spell at Fiorentina, according to a report.

The Italian international, formerly of Manchester United, joined Fiorentina in the summer of 2013 after a successful six years at Villarreal.

The American-born attacker has largely struggled with injury throughout his time in Florence, however, and it is understood that both parties are keen to seek pastures new this month.

According to Fichajes.net, Levante, Villarreal, Getafe, Real Sociedad and Real Betis all want to sign the attacker, who has only managed two goals in all competitions for Fiorentina this season.

Rossi has also scored seven times in 30 appearances for Italy, but has not represented the European nation since 2014.
