Feyenoord will draw the curtain on their preparation for the upcoming campaign with a friendly encounter against Monaco at De Kuip on Wednesday.

The hosts head into this one off the back of a rare but humiliating defeat last time out, while their visitors played out a second straight share of the spoils.

In stark contrast to an otherwise amazing pre-season so far, Feyenoord were comprehensively beaten 5-0 by Benfica in Sunday's meeting at Estadio da Luz. Greek striker Vangelis Pavlidis led the onslaught on Brian Priske's men, grabbing a first-half double in-between strikes from Gianluca Prestianni and Jan-Niklas Beste, after which Arthur Cabral rounded off the scoring.
