Turkish Super Lig suspended following shooting incident

Turkey's Super Lig has been suspended for one week following an armed attack on Fenerbahce's team bus.

The shooting happened on Saturday after the side's 5-1 win over Rizespor. No players or staff were injured, but the driver of the bus was taken to hospital.

The club had called for play in the league to be halted in the wake of the incident.

Fenerbahce are one of Turkey's most successful teams, winning the domestic league title a joint-record 19 times.
