Spectacular Miroslav Stoch strike wins Puskas Award

Fenerbahce winger Miroslav Stoch has won the Puskas Award for best goal at this evening's Ballon d'Or awards ceremony in Zurich.

His superb strike against Genclerbirligi in a Turkish Super Lig match received more votes than Radamel Falcao's athletic scissor kick against America de Cali, and Neymar's winding dribble against Flamengo.

The Slovakian international found the top corner with a volley after the ball had been floated to the edge of the area from a corner kick.

Neymar took the honour last year for his goal against Internacional in the Copa Libertadores.
