Leon de Kogel wins it late for FC Utrecht

FC Utrecht moved out of the Eredivisie relegation zone this afternoon with a 2-1 win over Willem II.

A patchy first period brought few chances for either side, and it was the home team that struck first in the second half, with Jens Toornstra registering after 64 minutes.

The away side were level 11 minutes later, however, when Robbie Haemhouts found the back of the net to set up a lively final 15 minutes.

The contest looked to be heading for a draw, but Leon de Kogel scored in the final moments to secure all the points for the home side.
