West Bromwich Albion, Everton to battle for Cristian Zapata?

West Bromwich Albion and Everton are believed to be lining up bids for Columbian defender Cristian Zapata.

The 25-year-old was linked with a move to Liverpool last summer, but instead joined Villarreal.

However, he now looks to be on the way out following their relegation from La Liga, according to the Daily Mail.

Zapata, who has made 15 appearances for his country, can play as a centre-back or as a full-back.
