Report: Everton midfielder Kieran Dowell to seal Nottingham Forest loan move

Everton midfielder Kieran Dowell has edged closer to a season-long loan move to Nottingham Forest, according to reports.

The 19-year-old, who came through the Toffees academy, is highly regarded at Goodison Park and has made two Premier League appearances for his club so far.

According to the Nottingham Post, Dowell will complete the formalities of his move in time to make the Reds squad for Friday night's Championship opener against Millwall.

Dowell was part of the England squad that won the Under-20 World Cup this summer, scoring against hosts South Korea in the group stage.
