Report: Everton to offer Brendan Galloway new contract

Everton are reportedly planning to offer young defender Brendan Galloway a new contract following his breakthrough into the club's starting XI this season.

The 19-year-old, who has made six starts for the Toffees, can play at left-back or centre-back.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton manager Roberto Martinez is keen to tie the youngster down to a long-term deal.

Galloway, who was born in Zimbabwe, has made 18 appearances for England at youth level.
