Everton submit Nikica Jelavic bid

Everton have submitted an official bid to Glasgow Rangers for striker Nikica Jelavic, according to Sky Sports News.

Manager David Moyes is reportedly keen to bolster his attacking options before the deadline closes on Tuesday and has identified the Croatian international as the ideal candidate.

Moyes may face competition for the 26-year-old, who is said to be attracting interest from West Ham United, Liverpool and Queens Park Rangers.

Everton have also been linked with making a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers centre-forward Kevin Doyle.
