Everton plot Mario Mandzukic move

Everton are said to be considering a move for Wolfsburg striker Mario Mandzukic.

The 26-year-old is currently with the Croatia squad at Euro 2012, where he is the tournament's joint-topscorer and has been performing well alongside current Toffees hit man Nikica Jelavic.

David Moyes has sent scouts to watch Mandzukic and the Merseyside club are plotting a £7m bid for the player, according to The Mirror.

Mandzukic has scored 20 Bundesliga goals since former England manager Steve McClaren brought him to Wolfsburg in 2010.
