Francisco Junior joins Stromsgodset on loan

Stromsgodset have signed Everton midfielder Francisco Junior on loan until the end of the season.

The former Portugal Under-21 player had been on loan at Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem, but he was recalled by the Toffees after featuring on just three occasions during the first half of the campaign.

That has given the 22-year-old the opportunity to move to Norway with Stromsgodset, who begin their domestic season at the end of March.

Junior has made just one appearance for the Merseyside club, which came against Leeds United in the Capital One Cup last season.
