Everton considering bid for Brentford forward Ivan Toney?

Everton are reportedly contemplating whether to make an approach for Brentford forward Ivan Toney.

The 24-year-old has starred for the Bees since his switch from Peterborough United earlier this year, contributing 13 goals from his 17 outings in all competitions.

Brentford are unlikely to consider any bids for the striker as they bid to earn promotion to the Premier League.

However, according to Calciomercato, Everton have identified the in-form Championship player as a potential signing.

Despite Dominic Calvert-Lewin being regarded as a key man at Goodison Park, the Toffees are in the market for quality backup.

Everton would be prepared to raise the funds required to sign Toney by parting ways with Cenk Tosun.
