Everton's Conor McAleny switches to Charlton Athletic

Charlton Athletic have completed the loan signing of Everton striker Conor McAleny.

The 23-year-old, who has had previous temporary stints with Scunthorpe United, Brentford and Cardiff City, will remain at The Valley until Saturday, November 7.

Prior to his switch to South London, McAleny featured for Everton's senior side during two of their pre-season friendlies this summer.

He has been handed the number 28 shirt and is expected to be in the squad for tomorrow's Championship encounter against Huddersfield Town.
